Placide Brasseaux
"CARENCRO -- Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in the St. Peter Catholic Church for Placide Brasseaux, 77, who died at 5 pm. Saturday in the Rayne Branch Hospital.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Babineaux of Rayne, two step-sons, Ulysse Broussard of Alexandria and Austin Broussard of Sunset, two step-daughters, Mrs. Loretta Broussard of Crowley and Mrs. Francis Rosaline Bonnie, four brothers, Romain, Noah, and Evic Brasseaux, all of Carencro, and Isaac Brasseaux of Lafayette, two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Lilia) Bergeron of Port Barre and Mrs Amilca (Nedia) Benoit of Carencro; 14 step grandchildren."

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro is in charge of arrangements."
