He married second, Elaine Fox on December 4, 1964 in Oak Harbor, Washington. They were the parents of William Scott and Julie Heather Jones. Billy was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and retired from the navy in 1973. After his retirement, he managed a State liquor store in Eldon, Iowa.
