Tallieu Funeral Set for Monday
Lifelong Resident Of Lapeer County Dies Lapeer
Mrs. Margaret Tallieu, 67, lifelong resident of Lapeer County, died today at City Hospital. Rosary will be said at the home, 823 St. Clair St., at 8 p.m. Monday. Mass will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Church of the Immaculate Conception, the Rev. Fr. Robert Mulcahy officiating. Burial will be in North Branch Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Tallieu was born in Lapeer Township, Sept. 10, 1880, to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gormley. The family later lived in Arcadia Township. Mrs. Tallieu was married in April, 1899, to Emile Calvert, who died in 1906. She was married to Frank Tallieu, who died in February 1942, the couple making their home in Arcadia and North Branch Townships.
She leaves two sons, Esper Calvert, Arcadia Township; Edward, Lapeer; seven grandchildren; a brother, Peter Gormley, and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Winslow, both of Lum.

Margaret married Emile Calvert on April 25, 1900, in North Branch, Michigan. They had two sons, Esper and Edward. In 1906, Emile passed away from typhoid fever. Margaret's second marriage was to Frank Tallieu. They had one son, Frank, who was born prematurely and did not survive.
