Golden J. Hollar Dead

Golden J. Hollar, 1028 Topeka St., a retired machinist for the Santa Fe, died this morning in Newman Memorial County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday in the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Larry Tankersley.

Mr. Hollar was born Dec. 9th, 1894, in Aurora Mo., the son of William M. and Emma Bruton Hollar. He married Priscilla I. Grimmett May 5th, 1917 in Emporia. He is survived by his wife of the home; four sons, Orville R., 1205 Prairie St., Donald L., 935 Lincoln St., Golden J. Jr., Wellington, and James W. Hollar, 615 1/-2 West St.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Worcester, 511 Lincoln St.; two brothers, T. H. Hollar, Yates Center, and W. E. Hollar, Reading; four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Smith, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. I. L. Harris, Council Grove, Mrs. V. A. Hoch, Rt. 1, Emporia, and Mrs. H. A. Smith, Altadena, Calif.; six granddaughters, and three grandsons. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Emporia Masonic Lodge.
