During the depression, Rosie worked for Lancaster Packing in 1928-1934, Bauman Bro. meat business from 1947-52 & continued working as a bookkeeper for Lancaster Motors in 1957-1960 until she retired.
Their late sister, Frances' oldest grandchildren, Janice, Linda & Marilyn Boley, used to come over to pull taffy & make fudge with their Great-Aunts Rosie & Margaret in the family home at 428 N. High St., Lancaster who lived there until their deaths. (Photo of home on parents' memorial pages.) She & Rosie attended bridal & baby showers of their grand & great-grand nieces. Margaret was a letter writer to her great- grand nieces through the 1990s until her death.
