Dora Dean Dunn Parker,85 of Benton passed away on Friday, January 4,2013, at 12:50p.m. at the Lakeway Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benton, Ky.
Born Thursday, September 22, 1927 in Golden Pond, Ky she was the daughter if the late Felix Dunn and the late Eva Jones Dunn. She was the first wife of Joe Parker of Benton, Ky.
Surviving are her husband Joe, two sons, Bobby Joe Parker of North Carolina and Gary Wayne Parker of Mayfield, Ky., one brother Dallas Dunn of Palma, Ky. four grandchildren, Gina Parker Justice (Trey) of Columbus, Oh. Shawna Parker Wadkins (Roy Jr.) of Calvert City, Ky, Jarrod Parker (Gina) of Columbus Oh. and Ryan Parker and fiance Kayla Curtsinger of Benton, Ky Six great grandchildren , daughter in law June Parker of Benton, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Alvin Dunn, two sisters, Alice Coursey and Delilah Pogue.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home in Benton. David Hendrickson will officiate.
Friends may visit with the family after 12:00 noon Sunday January 6,2013 until the funeral hour at collier Funeral Home.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association , Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans LN STE 401, Louisville, Ky 40205-3284
