Nadine was a loving homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Felix, Hubert, Welford, and Woodrow Gross; sisters, Geneva Redman, Evelyn Maynor, Helen Kost, and Mary McCarty.
She is survived by her husband, of 69 years, Charles Carr, son, Gary Carr and his wife, Treva of Mascoutah, IL; grandsons, Douglas Carr and his wife, Tascia of New Bern, NC, Nicholas Carr and his wife, Lindsay of Mascoutah, IL; great grandchildren, James, Reagan, and Grady Carr of New Bern, NC, Colby Carr of Mascoutah, IL; dear nieces, Winnie Pace and Connie Wheeler; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main St. in Mt. Vernon with burial to follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Vista Care Hospice at 323 Metro Ave. Evansville, IN 47715.
