J.B. Jones Dies in Auto Mishap
J.B. Jones, 42-year-old Vine Grove man, was killed on June 16th in a one-car accident on Ky. 64 between Vine Grove and Flaherty. Mr. Jones apparently died instantly.
He was employed at the Fort Knox Officers Club as a cook.
The car left the road, crashed through fences and into a barn.
Mr. Jones was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Hines Jones and three children, Wesley, Elaine, and Susan Jones; four sisters, Mrs. J.B. Stivers, Mrs. Minnie Luton, and Mrs. Claude Hinton, Elizabethtown, and Mrs. Carter Hunt, Vine Grove, and a brother, Frank Jones, Ekron.
The funeral was Saturday at the Vine Grove Baptist Church, with burial in Memorial Garden, Elizabethtown.
