Nancy Pugh, 69, of Bardstown, died Thursday January 3, 2013 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born January 1, 1944 in Laona, Wisconsin, a self-employed caregiver, a volunteer for Nelcasa, and of the Lutheran faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin and Nellie Starks.
She is survived by her three children, Bryon Pugh of Willow, Alaska, Lysa (Terry) Drake of Bardstown, and Terry (Tanya) Pugh of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; four grandchildren, T.C. (Kayla) Drake, Samantha Drake, Cierra Drake, and Aliyah Drake; great-grandson, Cambron Drake; step-mother, Dorothy Starks of Laona, Wisconsin; two step-grandchildren, Jessica Teich, and Ben Teich; three sisters; and three friends, Amanda King and Steve Vittitow, and their children Kolby and Noah, and friend, JoAnn Boone.
A prayer service will be 2:00 pm Sunday January 6, 2013 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bruce Nichols will officiate. Visitation will be noon - 2 pm Sunday at Barlow Funeral Home.
