FUNERAL HELD FRIDAY OF JOHN CHAS. YOEMAN

Funeral services were held at the J. W. May Funeral Home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock for John Charles Yeoman, who passed away in the Owen Sound G. and M. Hospital on Tuesday. Mr. Yeoman, who was in his 78th year, had been a well known resident of RR7, Owen Sound district.

Rev. Geoffrey Royall, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, conducted the impressive funeral service and also sang a solor, "Home Sweet Home." Two hymns were sund, "Rock of Age" and "Nearer My God to Thee." Pallbearers were Oliver Taylor, Garfield Buckton, George Frook, Stuart Dulmage, Richard Baker and Lewis Jackson. Seven grandchildren carried the beautiful floral tributes.

Among those who attended the funeral from a distance were Mrs. Forbes Bricker, Otto Bricker and Mrs. M Deiter, all of Listowel, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Majury, Toronto, Mrs. Gordon Blackett of Brantford, Algernon Yeoman of Chesley and Mr. and Mrs. Alex McNabb, all of Chatsworth.

Following the service the remains were laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery mausoleum.
