Clifford R. Bell, of West Point, King William Co.,VA.- formerly of Arlington, VA., died Monday 15 October 2012. He was born in Philadelphia and attended Penn State. Cliff was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the reserves 1976 to 1982. He was a retired intel-analyst from N.G.A. Cliff was an avid reader, he loved astronomy and history.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford Roy and Mary Bell. Cliff is survived by his wife Karen Carter Bell; two children of the heart Amanda Smith (Scott) and Elizabeth Sullivan (Christopher) and a granddaughter Gwendolyn.
The family wishes to thank the nurses at acute care 4th floor of Sentara Williamsburg Hospital and Hospice House of Williamsburg and their staff for the wonderful care given to him. A funeral service was held on Thursday, 18 October 2012 at 'Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Services,' 417 11th Street, West Point, VA 23181. Burial followed at Sunny Slope Cemetery, in King William Co., VA. The family received friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188 or Multiple Myeloma (MMRF), 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
