He was born in Union City, Indiana on November 14, 1944 the son of Harry and Evelyn (Burger) Parks.
He was married on August 9, 1965 to Wanda Carol Iliff and she passed away on May 29, 2011.
Dick was retired from Coca-Cola in Portland and also worked at Fort Recovery Industries. He was a 1962 Madison High School graduate and was an avid golfer, enjoyed camping and traveling.
Surviving are three daughters Lorie Haver (husband Wesley) of Virginia Beach, Va., Angela Evans (husband Scott) of Dunkirk and Joyce Jaquay of the United Kingdom, one brother James Parks of Fort Wayne, Five grandchildren Daniel Frakes, Jonathan Lawless, Katie Garlinger Masters, Kyle Garlinger and Mahala Haver, Eight great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Monday October 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin McClung presiding.
Burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery.
