Alberta M. Bradley, age 88, of Glen Haven, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at Orchard Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 4, 1924, in Patch Grove, the daughter of Albert and Katherine (Vogt) Richter. On October 10, 1945, Alberta was united in marriage to Stewart Bradley at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glen Haven. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and its Altar Society. Alberta enjoyed reading, playing cards, picking up walnuts and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Stewart Bradley, Glen Haven; their children: Sharon (John) Tesar, Jr., and Judy (Charles) Johll, all of Prairie du Chien; Rodney Bradley, Glen Haven; five grandchildren: Tim Tesar, Prairie du Chien; Kim (Leon) Trappe, Monona, IA; Rick Johll, Jenny (Chris) Phelps, and Andy Johll all of Prairie du Chien; her sister, Mary Berger, Prairie du Chien; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Bradley, Platteville; Leona Richter, Lancaster; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by five sisters: Florence Hill, Sabina Strnad, Ann Waller, Nellie Richter and Dorothy Richter; and one brother, Celestine Richter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glen Haven with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial will be in Gockel Cemetery, Glen Haven. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, an Alberta M. Bradley Memorial Fund has been established. Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington is serving the family.
The family would like to thank the staff of Orchard Manor Nursing Home for their exceptional care for Alberta over the past few years.
