Mrs. Kathryn O'Donnell, 84, of 4522 West Rogers Ave., Tampa, Fla, died at 7:15 a.m. Friday, June 27, in the intensive care unit of Memorial Hospital, Tampa, after a brief illness.
Born Aug. 14, 1901, in Iowa, she was the daughter of Charles and Catherine VanGent Koett.She married John S. O'Donnell on Aug 13, 1949, at Iowa City. He died Aug 15, 1978.
Mrs. O'Donnell was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Surviving are a grandson, Charles Schneider, with whom she made her home at Tampa; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Hageman and Mrs. Mary Pierce, both of Burlington, and Mrs. Clara Schroeder, Mount Pleasant; five grandchildren and sever great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Prugh's Chapel from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. A wake service will be at 7 p.m..
Services for Mrs. O'Donnell will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Albert Hauser officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
