Born in Columbus, Ga., he was a son of the late Aaron Land Sr., and Cecelia Ariail Taylor. He was a certified public accountant and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Riverside Military Academy and the Univerity of South Carolina, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Cecelia Taylor of Canada; his stepmother, Mrs. Correyene Taylor of Spartanburg; and a sister, Mrs. Alex (Sally) White of Charlotte. Services were held Sunday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Union.
