Aaron Land Taylor Sr., 76, of 142 Eastwood Circle died of natural causes July 15, 1987, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a general manager of Union-Buffalo Mills until 1962 and was a business partner with Thackston, Redding and Taylor until his retirement in 1980.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Spartanburg Rotary Club, Spartanburg Country Club, and member and former president of Union Rotary Club.
He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and former president of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
Surviving are his wife, Corryne Heiskell Taylor of the home; a daughter, Sally Taylor Welton of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Aaron Land Taylor Jr. of Columbia.
Memorial services; 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church with burial in Union Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, Spartanburg.
