Services for Mrs. Polly McFadden Ammons, age 86, of Mt. Sylvan, are scheduled for 3PM on Friday, January 4, 2013 in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home chapel in Lindale with Rev. Kendall Shuler & Rev. Bruce Rudd officiating. Private Interment will be in the Mt. Sylvan Cemetery. Mrs. Ammons died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in the Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. Polly was born on September 11, 1926 in Rusk County to James & Lovie Armstrong Fears and lived the majority of her life in the Mt. Sylvan Community. She was a member of the Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church, Mt. Sylvan Order of the Eastern Star, the Lindale Garden Club, and was retired from Tyler Pipe Industries.

Mrs. Ammons is survived by her 3 Daughters & Sons-In-Laws: Jana & Jody Byerly of Spring, Jeanie & Charlie Wyatt of Tyler & Melinda McFadden of Houston; Grandchildren: Josh Byerly, John McFadden & wife, Christy, Joe Don Bobbitt & wife, Stephanie and Connie McCreary & husband, Robbi; Great Grand Daughters: Madison & Mandi McCrary; and Great Grandson: Grayson Cole McFadden. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM (service time) on Friday at the Caudle Rutledge Funeral Home in Lindale.
