Wyman was the son of Isaac Clough and Mary (Swain) Clough.
Wyman was married c. 1760 to Sarah Hall, the daughter of John and Sarah (Kimball) Hall. Sarah was born on March 1, 1734, most likely in Bradford, Massachusetts.
Wayman and Sarah were the parents of at least four children including;
1. Enoch Clough, born September 18, 1760
2. Sarah Clough, born April 4, 1764
3. Judith Hall Clough, born May 15, 1766
4. Wyman Clough Jr., born October 28, 1767

Wyman died between September and November of 1796 in Salem, New Hampshire. His will was dated September 6, 1796 and was presented at the Probate Court on November 1, 1796, where it is on file.
The earthly remains of Wyman and Sarah (Hall) Clough most likely lie those near those of his parents in the Salem Center Burying Ground.

His grave could not be located in the early 1900's.
