George Henry Mabie, 40, of 707 N. Aurora St., died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 21, 1956, at his home after a heart attack.
He is survived by a daughter, Miss Janette Mabie of Interlaken; his father, Vean Mabie of Danby; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Monroe of Danby and Mrs. Dorothy Wolski of Ithaca; two brothers, Merlin Mabie and Howard Mabie of Interlaken; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A veteran of World War II he was a member of the American Legion.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Leon A. Oltz Funeral Home, 102 S. Geneva St., with the Rev. Don Moody of the Danby Federated Church officiating.
Burial will be in the King Cemetery.
Friends may call this evening at the funeral home.
