Funeral services for Caryl Cook, 69 year-old Buffalo woman who passed away quietly at her home in Buffalo early Sunday morning, were Friday September 8 at 10 a.m. at the Adams funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tom Saur officiating.

Graveside committal services were in Willow Grove Cemetery following the funeral.

Caryl Jane Cook was born on September 6, 1936 in Billings Mont. to George and Thelma Taylor. She grew up and received her education in Worland. After high school she attended nursing school at the University of Wyoming where she received an RN degree.

She was married to Robert Link in 1954 in Worland and they made their home in Worland. They were later divorced.

Caryl married Herschel Best in Powell in the early 1970's. Mr. Best passed away and she was married to Ed Cook in Buffalo on December 3, 1977. Ed and Caryl made their home in Buffalo where she was a bartender and cook for many years. She continued living in Buffalo until the time of her death.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and was past State President of Eagles, Caryl loved to cook, do crafts and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Ed Cook of Buffalo; two sons, Mike Link and wife Shelly of Buffalo and Arnold Link of Casper; two daughters, Thelma Kind of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Pam Gordon and husband Duane of Rapid City, SD; two step-sons, David Cook and wife Julie of Cheyenne and Richard Cook of Clearmont; one stepdaughter, Diana Spence and husband Ray of Cheyenne; four brothers, Gerald Taylor of ldaho Falls,Idaho, Pat Taylor of Bridger, Mont., Tom Taylor of California and Gary Taylor of Wheatland, Wyo.; four sisters, Nancy Squim of Wash., Marjorie Vaipando of Thermopolis, Evelyn Stephen of Newport, Oreg. and Judy Clark of Cascade, Mont.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, two sons and one grandson.

Donations may be made in Caryl's memory to Meals on Wheels in care of the Adams Funeral Home in Buffalo.
