James W. Langford

Services for James W. Langford, 75, formerly of Corsicana, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana. The Rev. Teri Hilderbrand and the Rev. David Luckert will be officiating.

A Masonic graveside service will be held at Brandon Cemetery in Brandon.

Mr. Langford died Oct. 14 at Briarclif Nursing Home in Tyler after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.

He was born Sept. 18, 1929, in Hillsboro to the late Harry C. And Hattie Warf Langford. He resided in Corsicana for 48 years before moving to Tyler in December of 2003.

James retired from Lone Star Gas Company after 35 years of service. He was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Corsicana and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
