Mr. Yandle died Saturday, December 29, 2012. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late George B. and Jessie Mae Cooper Yandle. Mr. Yandle was a retired Independent Property and Casualty Insurance agent and entrepreneur.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stork Yandle; sons, Richard D. Yandle, Jr. of Columbia, Ryan D. Yandle (Geordie) of Seattle, Wash.; daughters, Terrie Yandle Bridges (David) of Lexington, Dr. Christine Yandle Furr (Brad) of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, Jack Yandle of Columbia; grandchildren, Tabitha, Phillip, Ashley, Matthew, Johnathan; great-grandchildren, Taryn, Caroline and Miri. He is also survived by two stepdaughters, Traci Smith (Lonnie) of Blackstone, VA., Angie Geib (Randy) of Columbia; and stepgrandchildren, Shaina, Blake, Mackenzie, Logan, Dawson, Haven, Garrison, Kyler and Ava.
The family extends a sincere thank you to the staff of the Lodge at Ascension and Lighthouse Hospice for their compassion, love and care shown to Mr. Yandle.
