William P. Basicker, Age 63, Is Dead
William P. Basicker, 63, 1828 Lincoln Ave., died at 12:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Henry County Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Basicker had been an employee of the Chrysler factory for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wilfred Padgett of Indianapolis; three sisters: Mrs. Hama Stotlemeyer of R.R. 2 Elwood, Mrs. William Fatzinger of New Castle and Mrs. Ivan Hendricks of Plato, MO; a brother, Joshua Basicker of Middletown; a granddaughter, Patricia Padgett; and a grandson, William Padgett.
The body has been taken from the Fox and Macer Funeral Home to the residence where friends may call after 5 o'clock this afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Wesleyan Methodist Church with Rev. Russell Klinger officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
