At a young age Daisy worked for Spinney's Camps on Moosehead Lake. She later dispatched for the Greenville Fire Dept for over 27 years, and was one of the last dispatchers in the area to still be on duty, even after the new 911 came into effect.
She was a HAM radio operator for many years, meeting new friends from many different areas. During her life she enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, knitting, reading, and other activities.
She is survived by a nephew, Michael Judkins and his wife, Deborah of Alton; a daughter-in-law, Lois Lowe of Greenville; and special friends, Wayne and Linda Carpenter.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Lowe; her parents; a sister, Madeline Dority; a brother, Harold Judkins; and a son, Richard Lowe.
Graveside services will be held at the Greenville Cemetery in the spring. (Bangor Daily News posted 12/31/2012)
