Sandy loved to watch her grandchildren play Little League baseball in Bunker Hill. She also enjoyed being outside sitting under her gazebo watching the grandkids playing in the yard and swimming. Sandy had the most beautiful roses. You could smell them all around her yard when they were in bloom. She love sewing and quilting.
Survivors include her husband, Weldon Butler; daughter, Teresa (Edward) Armstrong, Galveston, Kim (Steve) Ballenger, Kokomo, and Amber Butler, Kokomo; son Jerry Allen (Kim) Butler, Kokomo; sisters, Joan Shoffner, Kokomo, Betty (Paul) Burns, Bringhurst, Carol Bishop, Kokomo; grandchildren, Tim Butler, Ashlea Armstrong, James Reed, Jonathan Reed, Brandyn Butler, Jadelynn Reid, Wesley Butler and Jessica Butler; and great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Castillo, Layla Castillo and Philip Castillo Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Bessie Rosa; son, Jerry Jo Butler; sisters, Pat Kail and Ruth Huffman; and brothers, Walter Rosa and Jack Rosa.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at the Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with pastor Randy Blankenship officiating the service. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden at a later date.
