Born in West New York, NJ, Doris had lived in W. Amwell Twp. for the past fifty five years. She was a member of Old Rocks Community Church in W. Amwell, was a member of the West Amwell Wonders Senior Citizen group, was a bus driver for the West Amwell Elementary School and worked as a Nanny for numerous families over the years. Doris was very family oriented and loved being with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Daughter of the late Edward John and Ida Vreeland, beloved wife of the late Werner J. Hoff and sister of the late Roma Lunney and her husband Wallace and Alice Hoppe, she is survived by her daughter Helen M.Hoff, two sons, Werner E. Hoff and his companion Mary Moore, John Hoff and his wife Joanne, her grandchildren, Robert A. Winn, IV, Lori and Lisha Hoff, Julianna and Jessica Hoff, a great grandson Robert A. Winn, V, her brother in law Harold Hoppe, a special niece Cheryle Puso and her husband George, her dear friends Richard and Samantha Berg, Deborah Carvajal, Dorothy Brown, Linda Rhorback and several other nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 5, at 2:00 pm at Old Rocks Community Church in W. Amwell Twp.
