Wm Foster was born Feb. 1, 1859, departed this life Dec. 1, 1947, being 88 years and 10 months old.

He was united in marriage to Laura Smith, to this union five children were born, wife and son Brook, preceding him in death, 4 surviving, namely, Mrs. B.H. Sexton, Mrs. A.C. Pogue, Mrs. J.J. Gibson of this city, and J.J. Foster of Independence, Kansas.

He was a member of the Parmleysville Baptist Church and lived a faithful Christian life and loved by all who knew him.

The pall bearers were his six grandsons: Earl Sexton, Forrest, John, Bob, Brook and James Gibson. The flower girls were Catherine Sexton, Irene, Edith, Edwina and Peggy Gibson and Mrs. Chas. Walker and four great grandchildren, Forrest Gibson. Max and Nell Shearer, John Joseph Gibson.

The funeral service was conducted Tuesday afternoon at 230 at the home of his daughter Mrs. B. H. Sexton by Rev. Chas F. Graves and W. V. Ramsey with burial at the Alexander Cemetery.
