Found in The State 09 September 1958: Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Galloway of 802 Ohio Street, both patients at the Baptist Hospital, died within hours of each other yesterday. Mrs. Galloway, 68, died early yesterday morning. Mr. Galloway, 69, a retired dispatcher for the Checker Cab Company, died at 9 o'clock last night. Mrs. Galloway, a daughter of the late W. P. Goines and Florence Sharpe Goines, was born in Richland County. Mr. Galloway was a native of Darlington County. He was a son of the late James S. Galloway and Lou Damper Galloway. Both Mr. and Mrs. Galloway were members of the Greenhill Baptist Church of West Columbia. The Galloways are survived by three sons, Clarence O. Galloway and Lelton R. Galloway, both of Columbia, and James S. Galloway of Cayce; a grandson and three granddaughters. Mrs. Galloway also is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Sally Bedenbaugh of Louisville, Ga., Mrs. Naomi Johnson of Gaffney, and Mrs. Charlotte Medlin of Columbia. A sister, Mrs. Bertha Yarborough of Columbia, also survives Mr. Galloway. Joint funeral services will be conducted at 5 o'clock this afternoon from the Greenhill Baptist Church by the Rev. B. I. Epting, assisted by the Rev. Lloyd Hellams and Maj. Ernest Harris. Interment will be in Olympia Cemetery.
