Mrs. Mauldin was born in Elbert County, February 25, 1923, to the late Henry Grady and Estelle Shiflet Prince. She was a retired seamstress from Elberton Manufacturing and a member of Flatwoods Pentecostal Church.
Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Jo Mauldin and Tommye Mauldin, both of Elberton; grandchildren, Tammy, Cheryl "Sissy", Marvin "Bubba", Gene, Wayne, and Rusty Childs, all of Elberton and Tracey Childs Riner of Dublin; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ray Prince of Lithia Springs, Ada Graham of Decatur, and Louise Thomas of Woodstock.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11AM Friday, December 28, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with TIm Prince, Rick Prince, Wynn Vickery, Franky Johnson, Howard Gailey, and Sid Gailey honored to serve as pallbearers.
The family is at the home of Wayne & Nancy Childs, 356 Heard Street, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6-8PM Thursday evening.
