Delores Landers Bolling, 85, of El Dorado, AR, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, in Minden, LA.
She was born May 22, 1938, in Gladewater, TX to Samuel Kater Landers and Emma Leathey Ringer Landers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years, Jerry L. Bolling of El Dorado, her 6 brothers JL, Billy Sam, Malcolm, William Lee, Oscar and Lewis and a sister, Evelyn Stickle and two grandsons, Jacob Evans and Jeremy Ware.
Delores was a longtime resident of El Dorado but lived most of her life around the East Texas area. She loved to travel, and she and Jerry spent many years traveling around the US for his job. Delores spent 10+ years working in El Dorado for Dr. John Jucas where she gained another entire family. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren who were the light of her life.
Delores was a member of the Old Union Baptist Church for many years and lived in Old Union the last 10 years of her life.
She is survived by her three daughters, Gloria Ware and Mike of Haynesville, LA, Carol Pinder of Port Neches, TX, and Jana Evans and Chad of Joplin, MO; sister, Nellie Turner of Gladewater, TX, six grandchildren, Amber Peterson of Port Neches, TX, Michael Ware and Katie of Longview, TX, Matthew Ware of Longview, TX, Claude Ware and Tanna of Haynesville, LA, Noah Evans of Fayetteville, AR and Caleb Evans of Joplin, MO; and ten great-grandchildren Parker Ware, Keegan Pietz, Josslyn Ware, Lane Ware, Reese Ware, Presley Peterson, Jack Ware, Georgia Ware, Samantha Ware and Mattie Ware; and a long time companion, Larry Fitts, of Old Union.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado, AR
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023 at Rehobeth Cemetery, El Dorado, AR. with Bro. Mark Landers officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR
Pallbearers will be Michael Ware, Matthew Ware, Claude Ware, Noah Evans, Parker Ware, Keegan Pietz and Caleb Evans.
