She was affiliated with the New Hope Baptist Church & a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Born in Owsley Co., Ky. she was the daughter of Henry L. & Lucinda Bowman Becknell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Neeley.
Survivors include two sisters, Mollie Peters, Milford, Ohio & Nettie Owen, North Wilkersboro, North Carolina.
Funeral services were Thursday, 2 p.m. at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Combs officiating. Burial was in Neeley Family Cemetery, Owsley Co., Ky. with Searcy and Strong Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
