Courtney Davis, age 25 of Bottineau died Saturday on arrival to a Minot hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Norwich. Funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm at the Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau. Burial will be at the Oak Creek Cemetery at Bottineau.

Courtney Alexis Davis, a daughter of Brenda Brandt (Blada) and Robert Lesmann, was born on November 26, 1987 in Minot, ND. She was primarily raised in Bottineau, ND. She obtained her GED and studied makeup at Headquarters Academy of Hair Design. She was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church, Newburg, ND and confirmed at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Bottineau, ND. Courtney was a beautiful blue-eyed child with a contagious smile and laugh. When Courtney was seven Robert Lesmann joined their family and became Courtney's father. Courtney loved spending time with her young cousins who called her "NeNe", hanging out with her friends and family, cleaning Aunt Diane's house, painting and drawing. She had a passion for tattoos and music and was a free soul. In March 2012, Courtney gave birth to a baby boy, who she lovingly placed with adoptive parents. Courtney will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Courtney is survived by her mother, Brenda Blada Brandt (Jay)of Bottineau, father, Robert Lesmann of Bottineau, sister, Heather Davis of Bottineau, aunts, Diane Lindquist of Bottineau, Joan (Ken) Arden of Bottineau, and Dawn Marie (Darrell) Eide of Berthold, uncles, Kent (Jean) Blada of Minneapolis, Mike (Roxanne) Blada of Mayville, Duane (Danette) Lesmann of Westhope, and Gordy Lindquist of Bottineau, grandfather, Weldon Blada of Newburg; grandparents, Don and Diane Lesmann of Westhope and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Luella Blada, cousins Brady Lindquist and Harrison Bahn, and great-grandparents.
