MAYVILLE Bruce A. Russell, 63, of 40 E. Evans St., Mayville, died Thursday (Aug. 16, 2012), in Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pa.
He was born Sept. 16, 1948, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Claude Russell and Roxina Loucks Russell Wickstrom.
Bruce was a graduate of Jamestown High School in 1967, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the William L. Travis American Legion 493 in Mayville.
Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was an avid New York Yankees fan.
He is survived by two children: Cory J. Russell of Mayville, and Natalie L. (Travis) Starr of Mayville; one grandson, Jackson Starr of Mayville; one brother, James Russell of Houston, Texas.
