ETTA MULKEY
December 27, 1895 ~ January 1, 1981

Etta Mulkey, 85, Idabel, died Thursday in Memorial Heights Nursing Home.

Ms. Mulkey was born Dec. 27, 1895 in Mena, Ark. She had lived in McCurtain County since 1812. She was a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Albert, of the home; four sons, Mitchell, Tommy and Douglas Mulkey, all of Broken Bow and Abe Mulkey, Idabel; five daughters, Ethel Pate and Irene Hairell, both of Broken Bow, Clara Puckett and Viola Nunn, both of Sacramento, Calif. and Hazel Hickman, Idabel; one brother, Nathan Craddock, Sacramento, Calif.; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Norwood Chapel in Broken Bow with Rev. Elwayne Schaeffer officiating, assisted by Rev. Elton Gibson. Burial will be in the Philadelphia Cemetery.

Norwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
