MULKEY RITES TO BE FRIDAY

Elbert T. Mulkey, 96, Broken Bow, died Wednesday in the De Queen Community Hospital.

Mulkey was born July 20, 1890, in Mississippi, and was a longtime resident of this area.

Surviving are four sons, Mitchell Mulkey, Tommy Mulkey and Willie Douglas Mulkey, all of Broken Bow; and Evert Wesley Mulkey, California; five daughters, Ethel Tate, Broken Bow; Clara Puckett, Sacramento, Calif.; Viola Nunn, Oregon; Hazel Hickman and Irene Harrell, both of Idabel; three brothers, Joseph Mulkey, Lawton; Herman Mulkey, Oregon, and Almy Mulkey, Arizona; two sisters, Magalene, Lawton, and Eileen, Oregon, 20 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Norwood Chapel in Broken Bow, with the Rev. Larry Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Philadelphia Cemetery near Idabel.
