DANVILLE - Janice Carolyn Oakes Kendrick, 72, of Danville, died Dec. 17, 2007 at Danville Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 4, 1935, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Ford Oakes and the late Adeline Oakes. She was married to the late John Kermit Kendrick.
She is survived by two sons, Glen Garnett Kendrick and Michael Donald Kendrick; two daughters, Glenda K. Bowers and Cynthia Kay Brock; a brother, Leonard Oakes; three sisters, Ethel Adkins, Betty Osborne and Lizzie Yeatts; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild. She was also predeceased by a grandchild.
Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
