Christopher was born to Richard A. and Lorna E. (Kreps) Fields. He married Dannette N. McGinnis on Feb. 14, 2005, in Peoria.
Surviving are his mother, Lorna Fields of Hanna City; his son, Hunter Fields; and wife, Dannette Fields of West Peoria; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, aunt, grandfather and grandmother.
Chris worked for the Peoria Civic Center for more than 27 years, currently working as the sound and lighting director.
He was a member of the Arts and Entertainment Local Union and Timberlake Club. Chris was also a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery.
