Leah Aliza Kennedy Quarnberg, 96 of Scipio, UT passed away December 18, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.
Leah was born January 11, 1916 to Charles & Emily Andrews Kennedy in Aurora, UT. She married Hubert Elmer Quarnberg July 30, 1936 in Fillmore, UT, solemnized June 27 1998 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Leah is survived by her children Linda & Marlin Miller, Salt Lake City, UT; Clinton & Donna Quarnberg, Scipio, UT; Crystal & Bill Alldredge, Fillmore, UT; 14 grandchildren 35 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; husband Elmer; son, Maylon Quarnberg; siblings, Hazel Curtis, Earl Kennedy, Irene Anderson, Ruth Kennedy, Arthur Kennedy, Emma Turner, Don Kennedy, Dee Kennedy, Lucille Johnson.
Leah loved her beautiful yard and was an avid gardner. She was seen mowing her own lawn at age 94. She loved the outdoors and loved farming at the side of her husband. She was always ready when anyone suggested going fishing or having a party with her family.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Scipio LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment in the Scipio City Cemetery. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com
