The Moore family of 11 including John Simpson were killed by 47 Indians. Kids William and Alexander were killed near Father. Baby Margaret and young John were killed the lst day of captivity. His wife Martha and daughter Jane were captured and burned at the stake at Chillicothe,Ohio. Children James and Mary "Polly" Moore along with Martha Evans were captured and held captive in Canada 5 yrs. Later to be rescued.
