LAKE CITY -- Mrs. Olive Morris Kirby, 90, wife of the late Dallas D. Kirby, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, in Carolinas Hospital System, Lake City, after an illness.

Mrs. Kirby was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Asbury and Lula Dennis Morris. She was a homemaker and a life long member of New Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include five sons, D. Nelson (Beverly) Kirby of Columbia, LaRue E. (Shelby) Kirby, Gerald M. (Faye) Kirby, D. LeGrande Kirby and Sammy R. (Elaine) Kirby, all of Lake City; a daughter-in-law, Barbara C. Kirby of Lake City; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald W. Kirby, and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Brockington Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lake City Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to New Zion Baptist Church, 1231 McAllister Mill Road, Scranton, SC 29591.

The family will have visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
