THOMAS RAY WEBB, age 65, of Wheelersburg, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth.

He was born on April 19, 1947 in Ironton to Thomas and Orpha (Watson) Webb. Tom loved fishing, watching baseball and football, and was a member of the Church of the Harvest in South Point since 2000. Prior to this he was a deacon and elder at Free Church of Jesus Christ in Highland Bend. Thomas took care of the church maintenance and was in charge of rebuilding the bell tower. He also worked fourteen years at Wheelersburg Elementary.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia; five sons, Adam (Carol) Webb of Marysville, Thomas L. (Crystal) Webb of Portsmouth, Charles Webb of Kenton, Carey (Debbie) Webb of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Chad Couch of Springfield, Ohio; one daughter, Annette Trowbridge of Ironton; one brother, Billy Webb of New Boston; one sister, Patty Timmons of Florida; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Webb, and a sister, Edith Webb.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Wolfe - Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Bill Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Buckhorn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Wolfe - Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville is handling the arrangements.
