Funeral services for Carl A. Groskreutz, 78, Vivian Township, Waseca County, who died Saturday at his farm home were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Vivian Township, with the Rev. David R. Wold officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.
Survivors include daughter, Mrs. Harvey Malakowsky of Wells; three grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Herman Abbe and Mrs. Harvey Stendel, both of Owatonna, and Mrs. Elmer Bohm of Waldorf; brothers, August, Frank, Alfred, Arthur and Richard, all of Wells.
Mr. Groskreutz was born May 12, 1891, in Vivian Township, and on May 20, 1915, he was married to the former Sophie Kuether in Vivian Township. She died in 1968.--Waseca Journal, Feb. 24, 1970
