Mrs. Robert Z. Toomey, 2-5-1986, Mt. Wolf - Catherine M. Toomey, 76, of 142 Dewey St., died at 3:17a.m., Wednesday, at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Z. Toomey.
Mrs. Toomey was born in Stoverstown, daughter of the late George and Rosa Glatfelter Senft. She was retired from the York division of Borg-Warner Corp., where she was employed for 27 years, until her retirement in 1971. She was a member of the Twenty-Five Year Club at Borg Warner, and she was a member of the York County chapter, No. 24, American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald L. Toomey, Mt. Wolf; and Ben E. Toomey, Conneaut Lake, Pa.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, May Collins, Barefoot Bay, Fla.; two brothers, George Senft, York; and Robert Senft, York, RD 4. Viewing will be 1 to 2p.m., Saturday, at the Little Funeral Home, 60 S. Main St.; Manchester. Funeral will be 2p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Howard O. Walker, a retired Lutheran clergyman.
Burial will be in Manchester Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the York County chapter of the American Heart Association, PO Box 328, York, Pa. 17405; or the Arthritis Foundation, 630 Janet Ave., Lancaster, Pa.
