Mary A. (Reusing) Arnold, 95, of Exeter, passed away December 16, 2012 in the Berkshire Center.
She was the wife of Jesse F. Arnold, whom she married in 1995. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jack Pergola, in 1993.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Sutter) Reusing.
Mary was a graduate of St. Paul's Business School.
After school Mary and her family moved to Massachusetts. Mary worked as the registrar of voters in Waltham, MA until her retirement in 1990. In 1995 Mary moved back to Reading and married Jesse.
She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, Mt. Penn.
Mary and Jesse loved to travel at home and abroad. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her four children: David L, husband of Margaret Pergola, Belmont, MA; Carl V., husband of Frances Pergola, Cumberland, RI; Mary Ann, wife of Walter Barrick, West Townsend, MA and Diane T. Pergola, Cambridge, MA. Also surviving are her three step children: Ronald J., husband of Margaret Arnold, FL; Barbara A., wife of Edward Emery, Sinking Spring and Ruth Ann, wife of Christopher Lutz, Mt. Penn. 7 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 22 step great-grandchildren also survive her.
She was predeceased by 6 siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church in the Chapel, 2427 Perkiomen Ave., Reading, PA 19606. A viewing will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham, MA on Saturday.
