Born in Straban Twp. a son of the late Charles B. and Mary (Kemper) Decker. He had been a car dealer and farmer, and was a member of St. Paul's "The Pines" Lutheran Church, New Chester.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 11 children: Glen J. of New Oxford; Charles L. at home; Mrs Andrew Heikes and Mrs. Harry E. Myers, both of York; Mrs. George Beamer and Mrs. Harold S. Lawrence, both of New Oxford; Mrs. Curtis J. Klunk and Mrs. Peter Hufnagle, both of Hanover; Mrs. Harry L. Kline of New Oxford; Mrs. Clyde E. Kepner of Hanover; and Mrs. Charles Kulynych of Thomasville; 24 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister: Mrs. Donald B. Sanders of McSherrystown.
Funeral services held at the Fred F. Feiser Funeral Home, New Oxford, with the Rev. Elmer Drum, officiating. Interment will be in The Pines Cemetery, near New Chester.
