Laura Myrtle Walker Beck, 75, Henderson, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at Methodist Hospital.
She was born in Crawfordsville, Ind., on Dec. 19, 1933, to the late William Edgar and Mary Meeks Walker.
She was a homemaker and a retired beautician.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Beck, who died in 1987, and two sisters, Joyce Hale and Linda McHaffey.
Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Miller and her husband, Jerry, of New Market, Ind., Linda Reed and her husband, Lawrence, of Spottsville, and Beverly Beck of Austin, Texas; three sons, Bill Beck and his wife, Laurie, of Athens, Texas, Les Beck and his wife, Brenda, of Kauffman, Texas, and Terry Beck and his wife, Lona, of Palestine, Texas; four sisters, Beverly Gish of Tuscon, Ariz., Sharon Mays of Parrott, Ga., Jackie Williams of Frankfort, Ind., and Sally Northcutt of Henderson; 16 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Titzer Funeral Home located on Columbia Avenue in Evansville. Bill Beck and Byron Williams will officiate. A private burial will follow at the Corydon Cemetery in Corydon.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Titzer Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jim Howell, Jason Skaggs, Marvin Beck, Bodin Howell, Trevor Woodcock, Jordan Beck, Tim Beck, Scott Beck and Danny Gravitts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Beck, Lawrence Reed, Jerry Miller and Cody Darnell.
