Teresa May Myers, of Sidney, Nebraska died Tuesday evening, December 11, 2012 at the Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Teresa, the daughter of Robert and Theta (Mullin) White was born July 29, 1948 at Oxford, Nebraska.
Teresa grew up in Oxford where she attended school. She later graduated from Doane College.
Teresa worked in quality assurance and quality engineering for Sundstrand Aviation in York, Nebraska where she met her future husband, Ronald L. Myers. They were married on June 1, 1986 in Utica, Nebraska. After 12 years with Sundstrand she worked for NEAPCO in Beatrice, Nebraska for 5 years as a quality engineer. After her husband's job at Cabelas brought them to Sidney she semi-retired and worked part time at Safeway.
Teresa was a certified FIFA Soccer referee and was an avid Detroit Lions fan.
Teresa is survived by: husband Ron Myers of Sidney, NE; sons: Michael Mullen of Tampa Bay, FL, Cyrs Myers and wife Jessie and their son Chase of Beaver Crossing, NE, Jeb Myers and wife Jennifer and their daughters Isabella and Londyn of Lincoln, NE and Mark Mullen and wife Janelle of Dodge City, KS; brother John White and wife Barbara of Sharonville, TX; and sister Tara Butler of Phoenix, AZ
