Hendrix of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2010, in the Greenlawn Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure , Breast Cancer Awareness, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309 in Frances' memory. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Frances departed this earthly life on Monday, October 25, 2010. She was born in Woodruff, SC, to the late William Bartlett Abercrombie and Lida Willis Abercrombie. Frances was a WW II veteran of the United States Army. She retired from the Oil Service Company.
