LEBANON, N.H. — A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Shepard's Pie Restaurant in Quechee for Dariel (Dee) Beryl Morris who passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, at Genesis Healthcare in Lebanon. A burial will be held in the spring at the Davis-Cate Family Cemetery in Hooksett, N.H.

She was born (and raised) in Manchester, N.H., on April 25, 1925, daughter of Lyra (Davis) and Frederick Smart.

She worked at US Rubber in Providence, R.I. when she met Robert Morris. They were married in 1952 and had four children: sons, Blake Wentworth and Michael Frederick; and daughters, Robertt Ann (Bobbie) and Elizabeth Julia. They raised their family in White River Jct. After their divorce, Dee moved to Bradford. She retired from the VA Hospital in May of 1990.

Dee was a member of the Hartford Emblem Club and the Gates Memorial Library Loyal Club. She loved to listen to music and go dancing. Her family loved to dance the "Alley Cat" while she played the organ. Dee was an accomplished cook, enjoyed crocheting and knitting and was a whiz with crossword puzzles. She loved animals and always had a pet or two. She wrote beautiful poems and blessed many with her inspirational words. Dee was a big Red Sox fans despite her grandsons preferring the Yankees. She was a member of the Bradford Methodist Church and had many dear friends in the Bradford area.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Michael and Cynthia Morris of Quechee, Bobbie & Paul Corti of Woodbury and Liz and Bob Ferlazo of Barton; her grandchildren, Michael Morris, Jr., Jenny Morris, Grant and Clint Peyronel; her loving sister, Beverly Dore of, Rochester, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.

Dariel was predeceased by her oldest son, Blake Wentworth.
