A short time ago Mr. Leahy broke down in health and a change was advised. He therefore rented his farm and moved to this city but at no time has he showed any evidence of improvement. He was a quiet man who had established many friends, not only in the neighborhood where he lived but throughout the community, who extends regrets to a young wife left with two small children.
The funeral was held from Holy Rosary church Tuesday with the following young men acting as pallbearers: Fred Wiseley, Will Howe, Will McGowan, John Hunt, John McConnell and John Burke.
Surviving are a wife and two children, a mother, Mrs. Ellen Leahy and three brothers, Will, Elmer and John, all of Darlington.
